  • Pain-free needles are inserted into the skin, they become a stimulus which communicates with the nerves of the body (the little wires that conduct messages to muscles, joints, skin etc...).
    Additionally, needles will kick start the "rest and digest" part of the brain. Meaning, it'll put you into a state of relaxation. Acupuncture can be used during a full body massage.

  • Sport (or injury based) massage focuses on treating and preventing injuries while enhancing athletic performance. Before the massage there will be quick assessment to determine your own specific needs. Various techniques will be used, such as deep tissue work, myofascial release, and stretching. The massage will target muscle groups that are commonly overworked or strained in your sport, promoting recovery and alleviating tension. Clients can expect a balance of relaxation and therapeutic pressure tailored to their comfort level, leaving them feeling rejuvenated and better prepared for their physical activities.

  • A massage for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and facial muscles typically focuses on alleviating tension in the jaw region and improving mobility in the jaw and surrounding areas. Typically, the treatment includes warm towels and a soothing stone gua sha tool to create more of a relaxing facial experience!

    Acupuncture is also another excellent at helping with TMJ dysfunctions!

  • Cupping utilizes silicone suction cups to promote blood flow, alleviate muscle tension, while stretching fascia & connective tissue, allowing for better mobility. During a cupping session, cups are placed on the skin, creating a vacuum that draws the underlying tissue away from the body.

  • Hot stones used in a massage session can help relieve tension in the muscles that don't want to "let go". The hot stones are dragged across the length of the muscles to help bring warmth, circulation and a sense of relaxation to the client. Stones can be left on pain regions or used for the best full body massage!
